Peter Friesen, Pure-O-Tech General Counsel Peter grew up in Colorado. He attended Williams College and graduated with a degree in Philosophy in 1978. He thereafter studied organizational design and law, and received his law degree from the University of California, Hastings in 1982. He has served as lead counsel on major disputes involving the evaluation of business models, employment policies, fair competition and anti-trust, and has been formally recognized for numerous accomplishments, including twice being placed on the list of America's Best Lawyers.

He left his law practice in 2000 to write on a variety of subjects pertaining to institutional design, economic development and the administration of legal and political conflict. He was one of Pure-O-Tech's original investors, and serves on Pure-O-Tech's board of directors.
