Peter
Fynn, Pure-O-Tech Vice President, Engineering
Peter
was raised in Zimbabwe, Africa. He received
a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
from Southampton University, England, and
his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in
Agricultural Engineering.
He
has 35 years of experience in the design
and implementation of water management and
environmental control projects. He has very
significant practical and academic experience
in controlled environment agriculture.

His
skills include a special emphasis on the design
and use of computer and internet based monitoring
of systems. He was one of the first to design and
teach programs introducing the computer into greenhouse
agriculture. He has worked in Africa, Asia, and
Central America, including the management and completion
of a rural electrification/irrigation project in
Nicaragua.
At
Pure-O-Tech, Peter heads the Engineering Department
and is closely involved in system design and implementation.
